Visiting the Villa Empain and its temporary exhibitions accompanied by a tour guide is a great way to get in depth knowledge on the building and the Boghossian Foundation’s approach. Thanks to our competent and professional tour guides.

Two types of visits are available, it’s up to you to choose the one that suits you best!

Customized tours
The tour guides adapt themselves according to the wishes of the visitors, and are able to shape the visit according to the preferences of the group, with emphasis on either the exhibition or the history of the Villa Empain.

Tours for children
The Boghossian Foundation proposes to playfully introduce the Villa Empain and the exhibition to your children.

It is recommended to book guided tours 15 days in advance and at the latest 48 hours prior to the desired time of visit.

FAMILY ACTIVITY | Krokuskriebels

The Boghossian Foundation will take part in the 9th edition of Krokuskriebels, an initiative by Gezindsbond with the support of the Flemish Government. During the holidays, like dozens of other museums, we will be rolling out the red carpet for families.

Children will have the opportunity to discover how to play with geometric patterns during an Art Deco workshop. Throughout the week, families are also welcome to visit the Foundation and explore the Villa Empain and its temporary exhibition Ways of Seeing, with the help of fun and educational booklets for kids.

GUIDED TOUR & WORKSHOP | Chun Kwang Young

The children will be introduced to the work of Chun Kwang Young during a playful visit. An imaginary journey that will reveal the sources of inspiration of the Korean artist as well as the secrets of the Hanji paper his works are made of. The visit is followed by a creative workshop inspired by the exhibition.

Interactive visit for the families – I create my exhibition

The Boghossian Foundation invites its visitors to discover artworks through several playful activities. The Professor Joëlle Petit animates a workshop that allow the visitor to create his own exhibition by imagining an original hanging as well as a new scenography. In French, Dutch and English.
