During a conversation with Martin Buxant, journalist Léa Salamé talks about her career and the links that unite journalism, politics and culture in contemporary society.

Léa Salamé is a television and radio journalist.
She studied at Sciences Po in Paris, and graduated with a law degree. She then landed an internship at Public Sénat, and worked with Jean-Pierre Elkabach. After working on news channels France 24 and I-Télé between 2006 and 2014, she became a commentator on the programme On n’est pas couché, broadcast on France 2. In 2017, she hosted the French presidential debates on France 2 and has conducted political interviews on France Inter’s radio programme Le 7/9 since 2014. Since September 2016, Léa Salamé has presented the show L’Émission politique as well as the cultural programme Stupéfiant ! on France 2.

After working as a political reporter for La Libre Belgique as well as Morgen, Martin Buxant became a political editorialist and journalist at L’Echo, and interviews political guests on the programme Bel RTL at 7:50 am. He has written several books on politics, namely with Steven Samyn, his colleague from De Tijd.
