On the occasion of her conference at the European Parliament, Mayssam Noueiri, former Magistrate, Director General of the Lebanese Ministry of Justice, addresses the issue of the fight against corruption and analyses the state of justice in contemporary Lebanon. Maroun Labaki, journalist at Le Soir, will moderate this evening at the Boghossian Foundation.

Mayssam Noueiri is the Director General of the Lebanese Ministry of Justice, a position to which she was appointed in June 2014 after a career at the Beirut Court of Appeal. She is a lecturer in commercial law at Saint Joseph University and the Lebanese University. She is also a lecturer and the author of various publications in the field of law. Mayssam Noueiri is also co-founder of the Arab Women’s Legal Network (AWLN), which was established in 2005.
