Practical Information

Democracy in crisis, social diversity in decline, ecological disasters, populist insurrection… the neoliberal programme is leading us into the abyss. To avoid losing everything, we must leave individualism and navel-gazing behind. If our elders lived in a world saturated with dogmas and myths, we were born into a society devoid of meaning. Their mission was to break free from their chains; ours will be to mend bonds and reinvent shared experiences. There are paths to escape this impasse. Will we know how to find them?

Raphaël Glucksmann is an essayist and the author of Génération gueule de bois, Manuel de lutte contre les réacs (2015) ; Notre France, Dire et aimer ce que nous sommes (2016) and Les enfants du Vide, de l’impasse individualiste au réveil citoyen. At the end of 2018, he founded the political movement Place Publique.

A doctor of Philosophy and Letters, Emmanuelle Danblon is a professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles where she teaches debate and rhetoric.
