For this automn’s cultural escapade, the Boghossian Foundation will visit Antwerp, from a different point of view.

The day begins at the headquARTers of Katoen Natie, an architectural masterpiece by Robbrecht and Daems, where we will be shown around in the exhibition 3500 years of textile art, a world-renowned collection that takes you through the history of Egypt and Central Asia, on the basis of old fabrics, clothing and other archaeological finds.

We will have lunch in the Art Nouveau restaurant, which is also housed in this architectural complex.

In the afternoon we go to Museum De Reede, a new museum entirely dedicated to graphic art, with Goya, Munch and Rops as its main masters, who are prominently present here. We will also be guided through the temporary exhibition La Celestina, Life between the lines with work by Picasso.

The day will end with the collection of Axel Vervoordt, with works of Anish Kapour and James Turrell. His gallery is located in the majestic corner building on the water in the historic site along the Albert Canal.
