From 22 to 25 March 2018

True to its aim of bringing light to the cultures of the Arab world, the Boghossian Foundation invites you to take part in a cultural trip to Marrakesh.

At La Mamounia, a sophisticated and luxurious mythical palace, we will get a taste of the Moroccan way of life – days spiced with eastern flavours, the benefits of hammam and strolls through gardens.

Christophe Dosogne, editor-in-chief of Collect, Arts Antiques Auctions magazine, will accompany us on this journey which will intertwine both tradition and modernity, unique visits and exclusive encounters.

We will have the honour of discovering the new Yves Saint Laurent Museum with its director, Björn Dahlström, as well as the exhibition Noureddine Amir. Sculpted dresses alongside the Moroccan designer.

We will also visit the quintessential Jardin Majorelle, the Berber Museum, and the medina, which we will explore with Belgian journalist and Moroccan connoisseur Christiane Thiry.

We will have the pleasure of meeting Othman Lazraq, founder of the MACAAL museum (Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden) who will show us the collections.
Additionally, we will be able to experience two rare and exclusive private tours of French artist Jean-François Fourtou’s property as well as Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent’s shared residence.

Please find the detailed programme below, as well as the registration information in the document available for download here.
