Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco Festival
Friday 29 March 2019

Practical information

As part of the Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco Festival, the Boghossian Foundation opens its doors for an exceptional night and offers to discover the exhibition Flamboyant in the wake of its launch. This immersive project invites the visitor into the home of a fictional collector of the 1920s and 1930s. By entering the Villa Empain, he rediscovers this unique architectural gem built in 1934, fully furnished in the Art Deco style and decorated with various paintings, sculptures and pieces of furniture of that time. On this occasion, guided tours in French, Dutch and English are organized.

The Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco (BANAD) Festival is an event which promotes the Art Nouveau and Art Deco heritage of the Brussels-Capital Region. It takes place every year in March. The festival offers guided tours through Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings which are, for some of them, usually closed to the public.
