The first exhibition, Decor, addresses the decorative in modern and contemporary art. The Villa Empain, constitutes an exceptional setting for this exhibition, simultaneously receiving it and constituting its decoration. With works of , Marcel Broodthaers, Daniel Buren, Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, Dominique Gonzalez Foerster, Pierre Huyghe, Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol, just to name a few. Seeing Zen, on show as from 10 November, presents 60 Zenga masterpieces of a private Dutch collection. Zenga bear witness to Zen ideals and challenge the viewer to look deeply into the meaning of the painting – and by extension look deeply into oneself.
The guided tours are fully booked but we look forward to welcoming you for a free visit accompanied by our visitor’s guides available in English, French or Dutch at the reception desk.
