Summer Party
Sunday 25 August 2019, from 12 am to 9 pm

Practical information

The Boghossian Foundation invites you to celebrate the summer with the fourth edition of its Summer Party, a festive afternoon with a mix of culture, music, sunshine, oriental flavours and poolside drinks. Echoing the exhibition Flamboyant, art de vivre in the thirties, the Summer Party takes us to the heart of the Roaring Twenties with an introduction to interwar dance and water performances. On the turntables, Darko and Kaiserr offer a sophisticated mix of electronic music, from Berlin to Tel Aviv and Beirut.

About the DJ’s
Passionate about music since he was a teenager, Alain Benisty (DARKO) is the man behind the mythical Statik Dancin’ parties. Mixing minimal house with cutting edge techno, Darko was the first resident DJ at the Palais des Beaux Arts, for which he created the Brussels Electronic Music Festival in 2008. Renowned for his eclectic sets, Darko signed soundtracks for the fashion shows of the Antwerp Academy, La Cambre Mode and Barbara Bui; he also regularly collaborates with prestigious fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Sonia Rykiel. Darko DJs in Belgium’s best nightclubs and festivals, including I Love Techno, Dour, Le Fuse, Silo and les Transardentes. Since 2018, he is in charge of the Music Program and Special Events at Kanal Centre Pompidou in Brussels.

Kaiserr is the alter ego of Stephanie Keysers, a young and talented Antwerp-born DJ. She fell in love with electronic music at an early age, while dreamy and floating melodies soon started to influence her daily pursuits.

From the end of September 2019, Darko and Kaiserr will be residents at the Moskow Diskow parties, every Friday at the mythical Mirano club.
