Storyteller Marie-Rose Meysman will host an afternoon of tales in the context of the Icons exhibition. Her dreamy stories and legends will transport you into an imaginary world filled with icons. Join us for an uninterrupted moment of bliss in the garden under the shade of the century-old Lebanese Cedar trees, weather permitting.

Trained as a comedian, Marie-Rose Meysman discovered storytelling at eighteen. In 2003, she was awarded the Prix du Conte in Chiny. She created several shows which were presented in Belgium and abroad. Most recently, she collaborated with WALPURGIS- Muziektheater for the project Trois Femmes Fortes (Three Strong Women) which was shown at the Ateliers de la Monnaie and will soon be on tour. She uses her storytelling to reach small children and children at heart. Guided by her stories, she helps us explore spaces secretly inscribed within us.
