The Boghossian Foundation welcomes François Hollande for an exceptional interview followed by a book signing with the public.

On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a war of aggression against Ukraine, fostering the emergence of a new world and pitting democracies against autocracies. François Hollande drew all the consequences for Europe and the world from this global upheaval. Relations with Putin, negotiations on the Minsk agreements, discussions with the Allies, a look at the threats to the world order (terrorism, the threat of inter-state wars) and an analysis of the new balance of power between the established and emerging powers, François Hollande draws up a cold assessment of international relations in the midst of a major change: do the democracies have the resources to overcome the challenges posed by the autocracies? How can we resist the return of empires that threaten the balance of the world? How does the return of war combine with the great challenges of the century, climate change, the rise of inequalities, the fragility of democracies, the emergence of populism and nationalism in many countries?

All these questions will be addressed during an exceptional evening given by the former President of France on the occasion of the release of his latest book Bouleversements, pour comprendre la nouvelle donne mondiale.
