It’s summertime! The sun is shining, the weather is warm, the birds are singing. Here, I discover plant varieties, smells and textures. A splendid palette of colours offers itself to me, this beauty makes me feel emotion full of joy.

The Boghossian Foundation and the CIVA are organising a workshop filled with curiosity and lightness. Between sensory walks, ephemeral works and natural weaving, the children explore quiet gardens and get inspired by nature to create their own art pieces. During a week, they discover the Bois de la Cambre and the surroundings of the Villa Empain. On the programme, plant varieties, smells, textures and colours…

CIVA is a museum, an archive, a library and a meeting and discussion place for enthusiasts of architecture, landscape, the urban ecosystem and history in Brussels. Temporary exhibitions, debates, guided tours and children’s activities take place throughout the year.

With its educational programme, CIVA aims to make the young public curious about the city and its surroundings and to stimulate their enthusiasm to become its ambassadors! A team of experts, guides and animators proposes a wide range of activities for children to discover the exhibitions, the collection and the city.
