With the CIVA

Workshops for kids ◇ 3 July › 7 July 2023

It’s summer, I dive into gardens and woods to observe the life of flowers, plants, trees and insects through the prism of wonder and poetry.

The Boghossian Foundation and the CIVA are organising a summer course around nature and drawings. During a week, exploration of gardens, contemplation of nature and experimentation through a botanist’s notebook are on the programme. The children will discover the names of flowers, trees and plants and create engravings based on drawings, combining imagination and observation. In the heart of the city, the children take a poetic tour through the many gardens and parks of Brussels.

CIVA is a museum, an archive, a library and a meeting and discussion place for enthusiasts of architecture, landscape, the urban ecosystem and history in Brussels. Temporary exhibitions, debates, guided tours and children’s activities take place throughout the year.

With its educational programme, CIVA aims to make the young public curious about the city and its surroundings and to stimulate their enthusiasm to become its ambassadors! A team of experts, guides and animators proposes a wide range of activities for children to discover the exhibitions, the collection and the city.
