Between the Villa and the wood, my body swings and on the rhythm of the group, of the bodies which move and which carry me along, I stop, I look and I observe.

The Boghossian Foundation and the CIVA are organising a summer workshop for children focusing on dance, architecture and photography. During a week, they will become dancers, choreographers, directors, spectators and photographers. In the heart of the Villa Empain, a jewel of Art Deco architecture, they will explore their bodies in movement and deploy their dances in timeless spaces.

CIVA is a museum, an archive, a library and a meeting and discussion place for enthusiasts of architecture, landscape, the urban ecosystem and history in Brussels. Temporary exhibitions, debates, guided tours and children’s activities take place throughout the year.

With its educational programme, CIVA aims to make the young public curious about the city and its surroundings and to stimulate their enthusiasm to become its ambassadors! A team of experts, guides and animators proposes a wide range of activities for children to discover the exhibitions, the collection and the city.
