Joe Biden is due to be sworn in as President of the United States on Wednesday, 20 January, 2021. Elected at the head of the leading world power, will the 46th president of the United States announce a return to normal after four years of Donald Trump’s unraveling of the international system? What international challenges will the Democratic president face? China, Iran, NATO, Middle East, relations with Europe … it’s a full agenda.
To speak about all this, historian Annick Cizel, researcher in American foreign policy at Sorbonne Nouvelle university, will be the guest of the Boghossian Foundation, in a lecture transmitted on line direct from the Villa Empain.
