Sweet garden

I love spring, the month of May! Life awakens, there are flowers and buds everywhere, the shapes and colours provide an unequalled vigour.

The Boghossian Foundation and the CIVA came up with a course on architecture and gardens. There is so much to see in Brussels! During one week, the children, budding draughtsmen and botanists, will explore the surroundings of the Villa Empain, the Bois de la Cambre and various Brussels parks. They will discover a mysterious, secret and magical garden: the Jardin Massart. They will observe buds unfolding and colouring in all shades of pink, yellow and blue. On the programme, observation, creation of botanical plates, discovery of nature…

CIVA is a museum, an archive, a library and a meeting and discussion place for enthusiasts of architecture, landscape, the urban ecosystem and history in Brussels. Temporary exhibitions, debates, guided tours and children’s activities take place throughout the year.

With its educational programme, CIVA aims to make the young public curious about the city and its surroundings and to stimulate their enthusiasm to become its ambassadors! A team of experts, guides and animators proposes a wide range of activities for children to discover the exhibitions, the collection and the city.
