The Boghossian Foundation presents, in the Studio of the Artists Residence, the exhibition Nagorno-Karabakh: behind the scenes of the last few hours with striking photographs taken by Olivier Papegnies during the violent conflict that took place in the Nagorno-Karabakh region in the autumn of 2020.

Nagorno-Karabakh is a mountainous territory located on the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, heir to a turbulent geopolitical history. Mostly populated by Armenians, these territories are nonetheless the object of several armed conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The last conflict dates from 27 September to 10 November 2020, a forty-four-day war that was largely ignored in the news and that inflicted ethnic abuse and the demolition of a cultural heritage that is several thousand years old.
